Scribble (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and their contacts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information in connection with our platform and services.
We collect two categories of information. First, Platform Account Data: when you create a Scribble account, we collect your name, business name, email address, and billing information. Second, Client Contact Data: when you connect a CRM or upload contacts to trigger letter sends, we process personal data of your clients on your behalf — including names, mailing addresses, deal milestone dates, birthdays, and other CRM fields. We act as a data processor for this information; you remain the data controller.
We use account data to operate your Scribble account, process payments, and communicate with you about the service. We use client contact data solely to generate and mail personalized letters as directed by you. We do not use client contact data for advertising or any purpose beyond delivering the service.
Scribble uses artificial intelligence to generate letter content based on the data you provide. Contact data is processed by our AI system to produce personalized letter text. This data is not used to train AI models beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your clients’ data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in delivering the service (such as postal fulfillment partners), under strict confidentiality obligations. We may disclose data if required by law.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Client contact data is retained for a maximum of 90 days following job completion, after which it is deleted. You may request deletion of any data at any time by contacting us.
Depending on your location and the location of your clients, certain privacy rights may apply. California residents have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Scribble does not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through our platform. We will notify affected clients in the event of a data breach as required by applicable law.
Scribble integrates with third-party tools such as CRM platforms via Zapier. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party data practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes by email or platform notice.
